Pasta Bolognese

Can you believe this is meatless? I promise you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! It’s an easy, healthy bolognese sauce that can be adjusted to your preferences. It’s one of my go-tos because this house full of noodle lovers also appreciates a good pasta.

Recipe

Ingredients (6 Servings)

1 (12 OZ) PACK @impossible_foods BURGER MEAT (OR GROUND BEEF)
2 CARROTS, MINCED
3 CELERY STALKS, THINLY SLICED
1/2 LARGE WHITE ONION, CHOPPED
6 GARLIC CLOVES, SLICED
1 (14 OZ) CAN TRADITIONAL PIZZA @classico_sauce (OR ANY MARINARA)
1 LB. @rustichelladabruzzo BUCATINI PASTA (OR PASTA OF CHOICE)
1/2 CUP MILK
SALT
PEPPER
EVOO
PECORINO ROMANO

Instructions

Drizzle a couple tablespoons of oil into a pan and add onions, carrots, celery and garlic. Saute on high for a few minutes until softened.

Add meat and cook until browned.

Add sauce, milk and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer on medium low stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.

Cook pasta according to instructions. When it’s ready, transfer the pasta directly to the pan and add 1/2 cup of pasta water. Cook until liquid is absorbed.

Serve topped with pecorino romano.
